Ragdoll Card

This weekend we had my grandparents come and stay and I got my Nan to make a card with me. We used a stamp that my Mum got on Friday called "Charlotte" the ragdoll and I really really liked her, so I begged Mum to let us use her and she did - Thank you Mum.

My Nan is not really into making things, but I showed her what to do and our cards are almost the same but mine is the pink one and Nans is the blue one.

Halloween

I was really excited that I was asked to be one of the guest designer's at Crafty Monkeys this week. I couldn't even really believe it. I was told that the theme this week was going to be "Halloween".

I started to look through my papers and stamps to see what I could do and in the end I used some of my Mums stamps and Mum also let me download some spooky papers from Sweet Shoope Designs. I made a witch with fimo clay using a mold and then painted her. On the card I did lots of cutting out (I had to have a little help cutting some of the smaller bits) and embossing.

I wasn't sure about what to do but my little brother gave me an idea because he loves cars and spiderman, and I know that Mum had a car stamp, so I made this card which I am going to give to him too.

Skating Gala & Ally Pally Weekend!

On Friday I was skating at the Gala at my local ice rink. I did a rountine with my synchro team and we did really well. We've no pictures yet, but I will post some as soon as we get them.

Straight after the Gala we went to stay in London with my grandparents and I got to go to Ally Pally (Alexandra Palace) in London with my Mum yesterday, it was really cool and loads of fun. It was my first time ever at a stamp show and I got to buy some really great stuff, Mum has taken a picture of it for me, I cant wait to start using them and entering some more challenges and just making loads of things. I especially cant wait to make some bracelets which we saw being demonstrated.

My New Blog

Hi everyone, my name is Emma and I love to make cards, scrapbook pages and lots of other crafty things with my Mum. I like looking at other peoples blogs with my Mum and seeing all the lovely things they made and wished I could have a blog of my own so that I could show what I made, so Mum has set up this blog for me and I will try to keep it up to date and show you what I've made and lots of other news. We have already found some other blogs by kids which is really great and I have added them to my links. I hope you will come by to visit my blog from time to time and enjoy my blog.

My other BIG passion is ice skating, I started ice skating about 1 year and a half ago, I am now in the Synchro team and we have been to two big competitions one in Wales we came first and won gold and another in Sheffield we came second. I have entered a competition skating on my own I came 6th. Its really good fun but really hard work, I have to get up at 6am on Saturday mornings for a lesson and also one day during the week before school, but I still love it. My Mum makes all my dresses and the one she did for my solo competition was really special.
